Why You Should be Doing Kettlebell Workouts

Kettlebell Workouts

Kettlebell training was once thought of as a passing trend. Although it was used centuries ago to strengthen armies and train athletes, it never quite hit mainstream North American fitness; that is, until now. Trainers are kicking their clients’ butts with Kettlebell workouts. Look close enough and you’ll see the round ball with a handle on it lying around somewhere on your gyms floor. Because of the odd shape and mysterious way to use it, many people often overlook the Kettlebell or pass on training with it merely because they don’t know what to do with it. Well, allow me to enlighten you.

Why Trainers Love it

When you do a kettlebell workout, you aren’t just doing one isolated move that engages one muscle group. Instead, you’re multi-tasking your muscles. For instance, with a basic swing, you’re essentially using all of your muscles. You can workout every major muscle group at the same time. It’s a smarter workout and more efficient than simply isolating muscle groups. Kettlebell routines also allow you to get a outstanding workout using one simple tool, what trainer wouldn’t love that simplicity?

Why Doctors Love it

Training to get into shape can be very tough on your body. Even though your body needs to be active in order to look and feel better, joints and muscles tend to take a beating. Kettlebell exercises consist of a lot of swinging. Very rarely is there any sudden impact when doing a Kettlebell workout. With this said, less stress on your joints. Also, the stretch you get from the full range of motion helps your muscles with flexibility as well.

Why I Love it

I try to get Kettlebell workout routines in my fitness regimen as much as possible. I love that I can use the Kettlebell with squats and still “feel it” in my arms and back. It’s also love that I can do a Kettlebell exercise with any of my friends. This is because anyone can do a Kettlebell routine, they’re great for beginners all the way up to advanced experts. Each exercise can be modified to the level of the person doing them. And my favorite is the Kettlebell ab exercises. That, along with a great diet plan, helped me achieve killer results with my core muscles. No matter if I was doing arm or leg exercises, because I had to swing the Kettlebell using my whole body, my core got an intense workout everytime.

Why You Need to Get it

Kettlebells can be used anywhere, not only the gym. If you’re a busy mom on the go or a career woman with no extra time on her hands, the Kettlebell is the tool you need to have. By doing a kettlebell exercise, you are hitting all those muscles at once, thus, you achieve a great workout in less time. There’s do doubt that working out at the gym is helpful, do to the fact there are people around you who support you and want to help guide you, but if you’re interested in a fun, different and exciting way to workout, this is your answer because you can still have the best Kettlebell workout right from your own home.
