I distinctively remember the time in my life when I decided to commit to a healthy lifestyle. I was more energetic, less stressed and… Well, gassy. I know, I know, I shouldn’t talk about this kind of stuff in public. But gosh darn it, someone’s got to talk about it. There are little things that happen to women, especially when she changes her eating habits, that no one tells her about. I know no one told me about it. Let me take you down memory lane so you know just what I’m talking about…
When I fist started eating healthy, I was doing everything the pro’s were telling me to do: Workout more, eat healthy, give up sweets and soda, etc. One of the main things I did was amp up the protein (both natural and powder) in order to build lean muscle. This is a pretty common thing for people to do in order to build muscle and lose more fat. However, what they don’t tell you is you will what my daughter calls, “The Bubbles”. Yes, gas. But not just gas- any type of stomach noises, grumbles, or uncomfortably. Protein, along with many other healthy foods, has a way of shocking your body. You’re so used to eating unhealthy, that when you finally eat the good foods, it’s hard to digest.
That’s when I finally learned the Apple Cider Vinegar trick. I little bit of this stuff will have your digestive system flowin’ like a river. Ok, bad example, just trust me on this one.
How to take it
There are three different ways to take Apple Cider Vinegar. One is the old fashioned way by drinking one-two tablespoon(s). A second is to pour the tablespoon(s) in a glass of water. And the last is to take Apple Cider Vinegar tablets. I always stick to the natural version of things, so I simply drank the Cider.
When to Take it
Just before each meal with a glass of water, about twenty minutes ahead of time. This is so your body adapts to the Cider and A lot of people don’t like the taste of Apple Cider Vinegar because of the sourness. If this is the case for you, try it with a glass of orange or tomato juice.
When to Expect Results
The Apple Cider Vinegar diet is a myth. There is no way you can drink a tablespoon of anything, not change your diet or exercise habits, and think you are going to magically lose weight. It does work by helping you shed unwanted pounds, but you also have to support it by eating a healthy diet and exercising on a continuous basis. You will start seeing weight loss from the Apple Cider Vinegar in a short amount of time, but it’s not immediate, it takes the weight off slow and steadily. Just the way your body needs it to in order to get adjusted to keep it off. It helps yourbody with weight because it mellows out your digestive system and makes fat burning easier. On the other note, “The Bubbles” are gone, and as excited as I am to no longer be the victim of protein-rich and fiberous foods, I think my family is even more excited.
