Find Support in a Workout Partner

When I started this process, to lose weight, in the beginning I always felt alone. Three years ago, when I had my second daughter Mia, the motivation that I got from my friends wasn’t always that great. I just found excuses all the time, for not achieving my goal. There were too many activities around me to take me away from my real purpose. But one day I decided to stop looking for more excuses, I said to myself “it’s the moment to do something about it!”

The next day I enrolled myself and my best friend in a woman’s gym, to motivate me to go every day. I pushed myself and my friend really hard to wake up and workout every morning, for 5 days in a row. By week number two, I discovered that I was enjoying the place so much that I was on the other side – my friend was not the instrument to find motivation anymore, I was the motivator to take her to the next level. After two months she was 43 pounds down, almost at the weight she was at in her 20’s and I was 117 pounds, almost the same size as my 14 year old daughter.

I guess what I’m trying to say is, if you are struggling to commit yourself to get those pounds away you might need to find a workout partner to motivate and help you to achieve your goal. Start looking around at the people you know, I am sure you will find somebody that loves to exercise. Get on board, always find motivation with someone, remember: motivation is the key of success!
