Get Set With Your Exercise Plan!

Setting your exercise plan means getting a membership in a gym, in a Pilates studio, or in a Yoga place. If you don’t have a lot of money, you may find nice alternatives such as a park, a boardwalk, or a community center; perhaps you own a treadmill at home, or maybe can start using your bicycle… The point is, get ready to start!!

I’ve been going to this women’s gym that I love so much, the classes are designed for women, and the instructors are fantastic, but the best part is that I’m able to relate myself to other women. We all have the same lifestyle – housewives with kids, and everything that it implies…

Going to a women’s gym makes everyone more comfortable, we don’t have to worry about guys checking us out! This gives us more freedom to do our routines. The energy is intense, since we support each other in our journey to lose weight, and it’s easier and more enjoyable.

We are able to explore so many exercises with our bodies that we will never do in a regular gym.

Every morning is a new exciting day, I can’t wait to get there and see what Larry or Ivonne have planned for the day. It’s always something new and very challenging, the music is great, everybody is waiting to see who’s not coming to make it and start making phone calls to get the lazy ones in to the gym. There are no excuses here!

We feel like a team, always welcoming the new members, we share all our secrets to be slim like our diet pills, our special creams that help us to tone when we exercise… smells like Bengay, haha… always talking about healthy stuff, recipes, meal planning for the weak, specials going on in the stores or on the Internet.

I like to do other activities like walking at the park I have close to home where I go two days a week with my friend who can’t afford the gym. It’s fun, we go to the circle in Aventura – it’s a 3 mile walk, a great workout. We see many people there running, roller blading, riding their bikes, pushing their strollers, and walking their dogs.

Once a month on Saturdays I do boot camp by the beach, a two hour intense workout, is open to the public and you pay per session so you don’t need a membership or a contract in order to participate, you only need a good attitude and gallons of water because it’s really hot! We run in the sand, hike, and we just use our own body strength. It’s like a military training, very fun!

Some of thes activities, and my daily routines are examples of how you can set your own exercising plan to be successful in your new life!

Remember the most important part here is your commitment and your positive attitude!
