How To Get Rid Of Cellulite… For Good!

It can turn a lovely beach day into a nightmare.

It can scare you out of slipping into a pair of shorts or a bikini.

It can make even the most confident of the bunch start to feel self-conscious.

I’m talking about cellulite… a woman’s worst enemy.

If you don’t know what it is, it’s those lumpy fat deposits that build under the skin of your butt and thighs. These deposits change the skin’s appearance, causing it to appear stretched and dimpled. As unflattering as it sounds, a common term used to describe this look is “cottage cheese thighs.”

But I’m guessing you already know what it is. You may have not known the cause of it, but you’re probably all too familiar with the embarrassment it causes you to feel.

I know I was. Because before I lost over fifty pounds in ninety days, I was a walking cellulite factory!

Here’s the good news…

Cellulite isn’t a condition you’re stuck with for life. You can get rid of it! You can get your skin back to being tight, firm and toned like it used to be.

You just have to know what to do.

Most people trying to get rid of their cellulite get it all wrong.

They see how their skin looks and assume that it’s the cause of the problem.

So they’ll spend money on creams and lotions to try and smooth over the skin.

But that rarely works. And even if it does, it won’t last for long.

Because the problem isn’t the skin. It’s the fatty deposits that are collecting beneath that skin. So to fix that problem we need to first get rid of that fat.

So how do we do that?

Well, there are three major ways.

First, you have to make sure you’re eating a healthy diet.

Then, you need to boost your body’s circulation through some fat-blasting movements.

And finally, you need to strengthen the muscles in those surrounding areas.

So let’s start with your eating habits.

You want to stay away from high sugar foods, as they cause our bodies to store fat. You also want to stay away from all the unhealthy fats, like the oils found in most processed foods. Stick to healthy fats, like the omega-3 acids found in fish oil, which have been shown to have a healing effect on the skin (and are great for your overall health).

You can help your skin by eating foods rich in antioxidants. Tomatoes, mango, papaya and berries are all tasty treats rich in these. Carrots, cantaloupe and sweet potatoes provide lots of Vitamin A, which has been shown to help smooth out your skin by producing more collagen. Olives, cucumbers and celery also help with this.

You need to avoid caffeine, alcohol and tobacco because they dehydrate you. If you want to flush these stubborn fat cells away, it’s important you stay well-hydrated. You should be drinking lots of water.

Once you have your eating handled, it’s time to get active.

You aren’t doing any favors to your body by sitting on your butt all day. You need to keep your blood moving. You want to keep everything circulating.

It doesn’t have to be anything crazy. I know you’re busy… but even something as simple as stretching and walking for 10 minutes here and there does wonders to keeping your circulation up.

Also, using a foam roller is great for this. It’s a firm piece of Styrofoam you can use to massage your muscles, loosening the tissues around them and allowing more nutrient-rich blood to get in. Celebrity trainers use this tool with great effectiveness, as the added circulation helps boost
your body’s metabolism and helps to break up fatty tissues. Rolling for 20 minutes a few times per week can make a noticeable difference quite quickly.

But there’s no getting around this fact…

If you want to make the biggest change… and have it remain permanent, you need to work those problem areas!

You need to get those muscles working because they give shape to your skin and help it stay taut and toned.

Biking and jogging both burn calories and give your legs some work.

Another great one is dancing!

Dancers are known for their great bodies. And these bodies are built from the full-body workouts they put themselves through by dancing each day.

I mean, when was the last time you saw a ballerina with cellulite? It isn’t likely.

Plus, dancing is fun.

You also want to do some resistance exercises to help build muscle in those areas.

Squats are great. Lunges are also excellent. Step-ups are really good too.

But when you combine that workout with a healthy diet… and increased circulation, that’s when you get the best results.
